Prayer is the intimate time we spend communicating with God, connecting to the higher power, the supreme one. It is in prayer that we find strength to continue living from day to day, just as the word tell us in Acts 17:28 (KJV), “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring”. It is by no other means to communicate with God other than prayer. Luke chapter 18:1 quotes, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint”.
